Mike Ivey has been in the real estate financing business since graduating from UGA in 1986. Mike founded and has owned Capital City since its inception back in 1991. Mike graduated with a B.B.A. in Real Estate from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where he currently serves on Terry’s Emeritus Alumni Board. Mike has been a member of the Terry Board of Directors for many years and had the honor of heading up their Student of the Year Selection Committee in 2013. Mike has previously served on multiple commercial condominium association boards in Atlanta and also served as Chairman of the Board at The Center for Children and Young Adults back in 2001 after decades of volunteer work at that emergency bed facility. Mike is active at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where he has served as Lay Leader. Mike is married to Jennifer and has a son Sam and a daughter Caroline, both of whom attend The Westminster Schools.

Megan A graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle IN, Megan has been in the financial industry from the start, with her primary focus on understanding her clients’ needs and providing solutions. Her background includes retail banking, wholesale banking and mortgage banking. The common denominator has been consultative selling, with a strong desire to help her clients achieve their current and future financial goals, with the emphasis now through tailored home financing. She is a past treasurer for the Women’s Council of REALTORS, is an active member of her church and volunteers with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. She is also a graduate of Xinnix Academy for Mortgage Originators, where she earned the Valedictorian award and the coveted Xinnix Award.

Raman earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California in 1970. He worked in the engineering field from 1970 through 1977. During this time he also obtained real estate investments, including some in the hospitality business. His major investment was in a full service Holiday Inn, in San Bernardino, California in 1976. He resigned from his engineering career in December 1977 and focused his full time career in the hospitality business and real estate investments through 1993. Since then Raman has been originating mortgage loans and has been a part of Capital City since 2010.

David has worked in the financial industry for his entire professional career. David began his career in bank regulation as a financial institution examiner with the FDIC. Then he worked as a credit analyst with a foreign bank and as a financial consultant providing business valuation and other financial services. With 35 years of training and experience, David is well qualified to help borrowers with even the most challenging financial situations. He works with all clients to choose the mortgage product that best matches their personal financial strategy. David earned his B.B.A from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, and his M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University. He is a CPA, licensed in Georgia. David has been a resident of Gwinnett County for over 20 years and currently resides in Peachtree Corners. He is active in his community and serves on the finance committee of his church. David and his wife, Tiffany, have two wonderful children.

Tim grew up in Vero Beach Florida and Graduated from the University of Georgia in 1986 with a major in Journalism and a Business minor. He has made Atlanta his home since graduating from Georgia, and is still an avid Georgia Football fan. He is married to wife Jennifer and they have a son named Jackson and live in Sandy Springs.  Tim loves to play music with his band “Men without Youth” and enjoys a round of golf whenever time allows. Tim has been a Mortgage Originator since 1999. He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent and understands all the sides of the Real Estate transaction.  He takes pride in excellent customer service and guiding his clients through the mortgage process. Finding the best solution and the BEST deal for his client’s specific needs is his top priority.

With over a decade of mortgage loan processing experience, Isabel Garcia is the Processing Coordinator for Capital City Mortgage. Isabel enjoys spending time with her husband and their very active three sons, who are involved in various sports activities such as football, basketball and swimming. When the kids are not in school, the family enjoys traveling and visiting family in Isabel’s native Mexico. She also is involved in her children’s school as well as various activities at her parish. “Buying a home is the single most important investment families and individuals make,” Isabel says. “And although it can seem intimidating, I am dedicated to making the process a positive and rewarding experience for everyone.”

Jennifer Ivey

Originally from Thomasville, Georgia, Jennifer Ivey serves as Capital City’s Chief Financial Officer. A graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, Jennifer earned her degree in Finance. Jennifer previously worked as Assistant Controller for AmericasMart, one of the world’s largest permanent wholesale trade centers consisting of four buildings totaling seven million square feet in downtown Atlanta. She currently serves on Peachtree Road United Methodist Church’s Finance Committee.

Foster grew up in Memphis, TN before moving to the Atlanta area. He is currently a finance major at Kennesaw State University, where he is preparing for a career in the finance industry. Foster transferred to Kennesaw State after two years at Reinhardt University, where he played for the Men's Basketball program. Foster also has experience in the brokerage industry with Aalpha Energy, a crude oil broker based in Houston, TX.
