Mike founded Capital City Mortgage in 1991. Mike graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where he currently serves on Terry’s Emeritus Alumni Board. Mike has been a member of the Terry Board of Directors for many years and had the honor of heading up their Student of the Year Selection Committee in 2013. Mike has previously served on multiple commercial condominium association boards in Atlanta and served as Chairman of the Board at The Center for Children and Young Adults back in 2001 after decades of volunteer work at that emergency bed facility. Mike is active at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where he has served as Lay Leader and currently serves as Chairman of the Staff Parish Relations Committee. Mike is married to Jennifer and has a son, Sam, who attends the University of Georgia and a daughter Caroline, who attends the University of Virgina.

She is a past treasurer for the Women’s Council of REALTORS, is an active member of her church and volunteers with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. She is also a graduate of Xinnix Academy for Mortgage Originators, where she earned the Valedictorian award and the coveted Xinnix Award.

Tim grew up in Vero Beach Florida and Graduated from the University of Georgia in 1986 with a major in Journalism and a Business minor. He has made Atlanta his home since graduating from Georgia, and is still an avid Georgia Football fan. He is married to wife Jennifer and they have a son named Jackson and live in Sandy Springs. Tim loves to play music with his band “Men without Youth” and enjoys a round of golf whenever time allows. Tim has been a Mortgage Originator since 1999. He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent and understands all the sides of the Real Estate transaction. With over a decade of mortgage loan processing experience, Isabel Garcia is the Processing Coordinator for Capital City Mortgage. Isabel enjoys spending time with her husband and their very active three sons, who are involved in various sports activities such as football, basketball and swimming. When the kids are not in school, the family enjoys traveling and visiting family in Isabel’s native Mexico. She also is involved in her children’s school as well as various activities at her parish. “Buying a home is the single most important investment families and individuals make,” Isabel says. “And although it can seem intimidating, I am dedicated to making the process a positive and rewarding experience for everyone.”
Jennifer Ivey

Originally from Thomasville, Georgia, Jennifer Ivey serves as Capital City’s Chief Financial Officer. A graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, Jennifer earned her degree in Finance. Jennifer previously worked as Assistant Controller for AmericasMart, one of the world’s largest permanent wholesale trade centers consisting of four buildings totaling seven million square feet in downtown Atlanta. She is a member of the National Charity League, and has served on Peachtree Road United Methodist Church’s Finance Committee.
